Biography: Mabel is a licensed attorney in the States of Texas, and a member of the Dallas Bar Association. She has practiced in the Dallas Metro area for 20 years, operates an attorney closing office for Fidelity National Title Agency, and maintains an active law practice in the areas of corporate, business law, oil and gas, and real estate and related litigation. Over the years, Mabel has participated in numerous committees, task forces, and non-profit organizations to give back to the community of Richardson. She has participated in Leadership Richardson and Junior League of Richardson. She is a current member of the Board for the Richardson Regional Hospital Authority; and is a past board member of Cottonwood Creek Drainage Association, Neighborhood Youth and Family Counseling. Mabel has been a Board Member for the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School for 5 years. Over the past five years Mabel has taught numerous title and closing instructional classes, to Realtors and national lenders, focusing on the legal aspects of title as well as marriage, probate and powers of attorneys in the process. Mabel is a Texas Real Estate Commission Certified Instructor certified to teach the Legal Update and Ethics MCE course. She also teaches, to mortgage professionals, title matters apparent through processing as well as incidents to identify potential fraud in a transaction, as well as interpreting title commitments and how title and transaction translate to final closing and funding.
